Unilever won a Greatest Annual Percentage of Greenhouse Gas Reductions award at The Carbon Group's inaugural 'Low Carbon Leader Awards', held on 7 December in Montreal, Canada.
May 2005: Sustainable fish fingers available in Europe
Our German consumers are the first in Europe to be able to buy fish fingers made from sustainable Alaskan pollock, under the Iglo brand. The fish comes from the world's biggest sustainable whitefish fishery.
August 2004: Burgmans receives sustainability leadership award
Unilever Chairman Antony Burgmans gave the keynote speech and received an award for Sustainability Leadership at the 5th International Sustainability Forum in August 2004.
